Group Presentation Group 2 Blog By Chanel Gonzalez

Cooperatively with 4 other of my group peers we designed and created a presentation based on the key elements on how to conduct and persuade an effective speech within any environment and to any audience. I have not one complain nor dislike from any of my team members. They were and are very respectful, professional, independent, and reliable. We all pushed each other whenever one felt lost. There was no room for judgment as we are worked together as a team to deliver the best message. Everyone returned their assigned part within a timely matter; therefore, allowing myself and, Bryan Mora our tech adequate time for editing.    The topics discussed by my group, and I varied from how to present and organize information to how to properly structure a speech and or presentation.       One of the aspects I enjoyed most about my presentation was whom I worked with. I can without a doubt say that my peers made it worth wild. I wouldn’t say that I loved doing my assigne...

Chapters Presentation Blog by Bryan Mora

In my group there were 5 amazing individuals with 1 bad apple, good ratio. I have zero complaints regarding those around me (except 1 lol). Each and every one of them had a crucial role to play in the success of our presentation and each and every one of them executed it perfectly. They all submitted in a timely manner to make room for adequate editing time and carried themselves with highly notable professionalism. In a similar sense, they were also very outspoken and produced an outstandingly fruitful show to be present for. Worth their weight in gold undoubtably. What I liked most about our presentation was the subject material and more importantly the perspective of my peers. More valuable than just words on a page was the views my classmates had and how it shaped our presentation. I found it very favorable to know that they were equal to me in passion to learn and it peaked my interest to hear out whatever it is that they stated. As the tech, it was a wholesome experience to compi...

My First Experience in Public Speech Class By Gabriel Acosta

For many, the idea of just standing up in front of an audience is a scary thought since many people in the modern age are so afraid of speaking on a stage. However, most of the time people don't realize that they make a presentation when talking to their parents about going to the Bad Bunny concert or when discussing with a friend how good is your Intro to Public Speaking class is. The art of public speaking is one of the most important skills that any person can learn since you use it daily to communicate ideas, express yourself, and learning this skill can increase your chances of landing a better job of communicating at a professional level. The presentations made by the class helped me understand what, how, and why should I learn about public speaking as a class thought in Miami Dade College. Throughout the four group presentations, a lot of good information was provided and knowledge starting with group One. Group one had what people can describe as the introduction to any t...

Speech Blog By Dylan Ruiz

My groups worked on chapters four through six. These chapters talked about many skills and ways to get in contact with the audience without losing their attention or having them get confused on what you are trying to share. Through out the book there are many different lessons to learn on how to master the art of public speaking, but our chapters specifically spoke about how to organize your presentation, how to read what is on your presentation, how to get and keep the attention of the audience and many more.                 One thing that is very focused on and talked a lot through our chapters is the demographics of different individuals. This can include gender composition, age, ethnicity, economic status, occupation and education. With gender composition the most important fact is that men and women are going to react differently to different topics so always...

Throughout My First Presentation By Bryan Mena

I originally signed up for public speaking in hope of getting over the anxious barrier that I get when I stand in front of a crowd and try to give a speech. One of my friends took this class before and said he completely recommends it. I had no idea what to expect when I first signed up for this class. On the first day of this class, we had to introduce ourselves and I remember telling myself that I could do it and that it will end soon. The icebreaker went smoothly, and I learned a lot about my peers. I was later put in Group 2, and we were in charge of teaching chapters 4-6. I was in Group 2 with Chanel, Bryan, Gabriel, and Dylan. When we first met, Chanel took over the leadership role of the group and thus far has been an amazing leader. She motivates us to make sure we finish our work before the due date and makes sure everything is organized. For the final position, which was the tech, Bryan volunteered to take over and make sure the PowerPoint was moving smoothly. After we all di...
